As the former Director of Education for the Manitoba Fashion Institute in Winnipeg, I developed and delivered fashion design and sewing training programs and consulted for the clothing manufacturing industy across Canada, the United States and Eastern Africa.

What I have always loved the most is the teaching - it is incredibly gratifying to see the sense of accomplishment of a sewer as they master a new technique or design something new and unique! Sewing is an artistic expression of fibre arts and what I love about our store is our ability to create new sewing classes based on what our customers tell us they want to learn. I love learning from you as well - seeing the projects you have created and hearing about the creative process.
