There aren't too many sewing machines that I have not worked with as I have worked in the professional sewing industries in Winnipeg that made everything from mattresses to blue jeans! Teaching and maintaining the equipment at the Manitoba Fashion Institute was probably my favourite position - helping entrepreneurs and new sewists master their skills.

What I really love about our store, L A Sewing Group, is hearing the laughter and seeing our customers and students having fun as they learn. Being able to keep your sewing machines in top notch mechanical shape and advising you how to troubleshoot and care for your machines is very rewarding for me.
